Petition for Approval

Wanting to take a business course for a third time?

If you took a business course twice and earned a C- or lower for both attempts, you may submit a petition to the Department Chair requesting approval to take this class a third time to improve your grade. (see WSU Regulation 34)

Deadline:

To be considered for a third attempt, you must submit this petition no later than 3 weeks prior to the start of the term you wish to retake this class (see deadlines below). Petitions submitted after this deadline may not be considered.

When are Decisions Made?

1 week prior to the start of the class. The Department Chair will notify you of their decision no later than one week prior to the start of the class (see dates below). If you are approved for a 3rd attempt, you will be enrolled into that class as space allows.
