Career Networking Night
At this event, you’ll be able to network with representatives from dozens of potential employers. Companies attending Career Networking Night are looking specifically for business students. Take advantage of this chance to leave a strong impression—and to identify organizations where you might want to intern or work.
WSU Career Expo
Held in both fall and spring semesters, this University-wide career fair is scheduled the day after Career Networking Night. More than 100 recruiters from industry-leading organizations come to campus to recruit students. The WSU Career Expo is held at Beasley Performing Arts Coliseum.
The Burtenshaw Hospitality Career Night
If you’re majoring or minoring in hospitality business management, be sure to attend this exclusive hospitality company recruitment exhibition. The event hosts hospitality companies from all over the country. Held each spring on the WSU Pullman campus, it’s the perfect opportunity to connect with potential employers for a summer job or career-track position. Jerry and Angelina Burtenshaw have graciously provided funding to create this event.
All students are welcome to attend. Professional dress is required.

Meet the Firms
Get to know representatives from accounting firms in an open forum during fall semester. You can gather information and talk informally with industry professionals. Dress code is dressy business casual.
Beta Alpha Psi Banquet
Throw on your best business professional outfit and join the members of Beta Alpha Psi for an evening of good food and great networking. An RSVP and a small fee is required to attend. Watch for details on the Beta Alpha Psi website.
Beta Alpha Psi meetings
Beta Alpha Psi meets on Wednesday evenings. Each meeting features presentations by accounting firms, professional development activities, or required community service activities. Find out what it’s like to work for companies in the hospitality management industry. During these events, you can hear hour-long presentations about career opportunities in various segments of the industry. Evening Career Preview sessions are held in both fall and apring semesters. MIS Alumni Networking Event
This relaxed evening of wine tasting at Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery in Woodinville brings together alumni, faculty, undergraduates, and MBA students from the Department of Management, Information Systems, and Entrepreneurship. If you’re among the department’s top students aged 21 and over, you may be invited to attend the reception. There, you’ll have the chance to introduce yourself to alumni—professionals who could help you launch your career. You’ll spend the evening networking and sharing stories about WSU experiences. Business casual dress is recommended. This annual event is traditionally held in March on the Friday before spring break. It is hosted and organized by the MIS advisory board.
