Career Networking NightPresented by the Burtenshaw Family

At this event, you’ll be able to network with representatives from dozens of potential employers. Companies attending Career Networking Night are looking specifically for business students. Take advantage of this chance to leave a strong impression—and to identify organizations where you might want to intern or work. Business professional dress is required.

Carson Internship Fair

Internships allow business students to apply classroom knowledge, network with industry connections, and forge new skills to support future full-time opportunities. At this event, employers from regional and global companies are looking to connect with ambitious and motivated business students to fill their internships. Click here for more info and to register.

WSU Career Expo

Held in both fall and spring semesters, this university-wide career fair is scheduled the day after Career Networking Night. Recruiters from more than 100 industry-leading organizations come to campus to recruit students. The WSU Career Expo is held at Beasley Coliseum.

Cougsfirst! Career Expo

CougsFirst! is a business network that encourages WSU alumni and friends to Think CougsFirst! for their products and services. NEW in May 2023, connect with businesses seeking to hire Cougs for full-time jobs or internships at the CougsFirst! Career Expo. Continue networking after the expo at the power lunch, education sessions, and show. Review the agenda and register in advance. No cost to attend.

Meet the Firms

Get to know representatives from accounting firms in an open forum during fall and spring semesters. Students can gather information and talk informally with industry professionals. Dress code is dressy business casual.

Beta Alpha Psi Banquet

Throw on your best business professional outfit and join the members of Beta Alpha Psi for an evening of good food and great networking. An RSVP and a small fee is required to attend. Watch for details on the Beta Alpha Psi website.

Beta Alpha Psi meetings

Beta Alpha Psi meets on Wednesday evenings. Each meeting features presentations by accounting firms, professional development activities, or required community service activities. Hospitality Company Previews

Find out what it’s like to work for companies in the hospitality management industry. During these events, you can hear hour-long presentations about career opportunities in various segments of the industry. Evening Career Preview sessions are held in both fall and spring semesters. Finance Professionals Night

Future finance professionals learn about what it takes to build a rewarding career in the finance industry from a panel of alumni and business professionals who share career experiences and tips for success during Finance Professionals Night, an annual networking event.
