Richard Waddle was not just a colleague and inspirational leader to Gesa team members but a passionate WSU alum and a dedicated advocate for financial literacy. His efforts were instrumental in strengthening the bond between Gesa and WSU, built on mutual respect and a shared vision for empowering future generations. Richard’s commitment to education and community support has left a lasting impact on us all. To honor Richard’s profound influence and enduring legacy, we have established the Richard Waddle Memorial Scholarship. This $10,000 annual scholarship will support WSU students who demonstrate exceptional leadership and a commitment to their communities. It’s our way of keeping Richard’s spirit alive by continuing his mission to make education accessible and meaningful.
