TC/EVERETT Amplifier Ambassador

Award Amount

Tri-Cities and Everett both have ONE position for an Amplifier Ambassador.

The position offers a $3000 scholarship per academic year ($1500/semester)

Requirements

  • Enrolled at least half-time on TC/Everett campus
  • Completion of either Tier II or Crimson Pathway II
  • CCB Admitted student
  • Ability to provide 5-7 hours/week for 12 weeks of the fall and spring semesters

Preferred Qualifications

  • Be on the top of the Suitable leaderboard for your admit term (the term you started at CCB)

Ambassador Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the Amplifier campus advisor and the Assistant Director for Student Engagement & Career Development, the Amplifier Ambassador will:

  • Serve as a liaison for the Amplifier program, connecting students, staff, and faculty on campus.
  • Seek and collaborate with university partners, clubs, faculty, and staff to identify Amplifier opportunities, submit them in the Suitable program for review, and drive the communication and marketing of events.
  • Create and distribute marketing materials, including PowerPoint slides for faculty, to promote events and opportunities across campus. Act as the primary student-facing marketer of these events and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the campus advisor, Assistant Director, and the Amplifier team on the Pullman campus to ensure accurate information is available in Suitable and manage QR codes.
  • Represent the Amplifier team at events, including attending, meeting hosts, and providing QR codes as needed.
  • Provide 1-2 office hours weekly on average to assist students, ensuring availability during advantageous times to accommodate the most students.
  • In collaboration with the advisor and Amplifier leadership, conduct in-person Amplifier orientations once per semester.
