CCB Hardship Scholarship

The Carson College of Business offers Hardship scholarships for students who have shown the temporary need for one semester to provide time for you to get through the initial shock and to figure out what to do long-term. In order to award this scholarship, submit a one-page essay explaining why you should be considered for the CCoB Hardship Scholarship. Include your goals, financial situation (including the amount of scholarship requested), supporting documentation and any other factors you consider relevant.

All information you provide will remain confidential and will only be used to determine the ability for the Carson College of Business to provide you financial support during this difficult time.

Award:

This is a one-time award applied as tuition credit to the current semester balance of your degree. Students may be awarded only one Hardship Scholarship per program.

*Scholarships are non-transferable, and may not be applied to any person, program or start date other than the one for which it was awarded.

Eligibility

  • Enrolled currently at Washington State University’s Carson College of Business.
  • Must have verifiable financial need.
  • Eligibility is determined by a combination of demonstrated financial need, in good academic standing and the quality and content of the scholarship essay.

Apply

    • Explaining why you should be considered for the CCoB Hardship Scholarship.
    • Include your goals, financial situation (including the amount of tuition credit requested), and any other factors you consider relevant.
    • Provide supporting documentation that supports your claim (including signed letter from doctor of the situation, release from employment documentation, etc.)
