This exclusive hospitality-company recruitment exhibition attracts more than 90% of WSU students majoring or minoring in hospitality business management, wine & beverage business management, senior living management, and event management, as well as other business students.

Held each spring, it’s the perfect opportunity to recruit students seeking summer employment or an entry-level job. Angelina and the late Jerry Burtenshaw have graciously provided funding to create this event, which unites motivated students with hospitality industry employers. We are deeply grateful for their commitment.

A big thank you goes out to the hospitality companies who are present during the Burtenshaw Online Hospitality Career Night to engage with our students. They are excited to meet you and network with you. These companies may choose to hold virtual interviews following this event.

Please follow up with the companies you are interested in and find out the next steps in their hiring process. Be sure to look on Handshake and in the HBM Weekly Update email for their current job openings and apply. Best practice is to share your email address for future communications while in the one-on-one (1:1) chats in the Social Lounge tables. Each table will consist of one employer and one student. If you see an open seat at a company table, please join the table and start networking with the employer. Be sure to have your video and audio on and be ready to network. Remember to use the chat feature once at the table to share your email address.
