APPLICATION TO CERTIFY A BUSINESS MAJOR

Thank you. Your application to certify as a business MAJOR has been received and you will be notified of your status via your WSU email as soon as possible. Certification decisions may be made as early as October, but most students will not receive a decision until after grades post at the end of the fall 2016 semester.

In the meantime, please contact a business advisor in The Carson Center for Student Success in Todd Hall 101 if you have any questions.

What happens next?

1.  You will receive an email confirmation that your application has been received.  Within one to two more weeks, you will receive an email response from the Carson Center, indicating whether you have been certified, or if we need to wait until grades have posted to make that decision.
2. If you become certified, you are responsible for registering for your upper division courses for the upcoming semester during your designated registration time (check my.WSU in October to see your enrollment appointment).  With the guidance of your academic advisor, you will identify what your course schedule will be for the upcoming  semester.
3. If you are not certified, you are responsible for scheduling an appointment with your academic advisor to discuss your options.
4. If you have transfer work that has not yet been posted to my.WSU, transcripts for courses taken at other institutions must be went to the WSU Office of Admissions by December 23, 2016
