Pulitzer Prize-winning author to speak about taxation and income inequality

Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and author David Cay Johnston will present “How Government Creates Inequality: The tax rules that take from the many to give to the few.” This free public lecture examines issues highlighted in Johnston’s newest book, Divided: The Perils of our Growing Inequality, which examines the economic effects of growing income disparity in the United States. The event is co-sponsored by The WSU Hoops Institute of Taxation Research and Policy and the WSU Thomas S. Foley Institute for Public Policy and Public Service.
