Nicholas S. Delaney is the new senior director of development for the Carson College of Business. Delaney, a WSU alumnus, brings over 32 years of combined experience in senior management, business, financial services and fundraising to the job.

Jamie Callison was featured in a December 21, 2020, article by William Spence in the Moscow-Pullman Daily News, where he discussed the Pullman Serves it Forward project he started to help low-income families by providing gift cards to local restaurants during the pandemic. The gift cards are purchased through donations and the effort also supports the local restaurant industry. Callison is the executive chef at the School of Hospitality Business Management and director of the Marriott Hospitality Culinary Innovation Center.
Michelle Carter was featured in a November 17, 2020, report with Mike Davis of KGMI Radio in Bellingham, where she discussed her work to increase gender equity among information systems faculty in the United States, including women’s career advancement to full professor. She was also interviewed by Abby Davis of the Daily Evergreen for the November 16, 2020 story, “Professor Seeks to Increase Number of Women Working in Information Systems.” Carter is an associate professor in the Department of Management, Information Systems, and Entrepreneurship.
Robert Crossler was featured in a December 7, 2020, broadcast with Sue Romero on KOMO Radio News in Seattle, where he talked about surveying parents and teens about their views on using contact tracing apps during the pandemic. Crossler is the Philip L. Kays Distinguished Associate Professor and chair of the Department of Management, Information Systems, and Entrepreneurship.

Chip Hunter, dean of the Carson College of Business, was interviewed by Sean Owsley for a February 18, 2021, broadcast by KHQ-TV, Spokane’s NBC-affiliated station. Hunter spoke about the results of the college’s recent Business in the Northwest Survey.
Benjamin Warnick, assistant professor of entrepreneurship at WSU Vancouver, was featured in a February 4, 2021, story by Dennis Thompson in US News & World Report. In his research, Warnick found people who regularly use cannabis come up with ideas that are more original but less feasible compared to people who do not use cannabis.
