Women in Business has given me many leadership opportunities within the club and networking opportunities with high-end professionals in the industries I am interested in. It has also provided a community to meet other women who share my major and ideals. I have met many of my great friends through the club.

Alpha Kappa Psi (for all business majors)
Alpha Kappa Psi is a professional co-ed business fraternity. We are dedicated to developing professional business leaders while maintaining a fun and personable atmosphere.
In developing principled business leaders, Alpha Kappa Psi adheres to 5-lifetime values: Brotherhood, Knowledge, Integrity, Service, and Unity.
Beta Alpha Psi
Founded in 1919, Beta Alpha Psi is an honor organization for financial information students and professionals. There are over 300 chapters on college and university campuses with over 300,000 members initiated since Beta Alpha Psi’s formation. All of our chapters are AACSB and/or EQUIS accredited. We are not a fraternity or sorority but an honors organization.


Black in Business
Black in Business (B.i.B.) is a growing student organization dedicated to empowering Black and minority students who are passionate about making their mark in the business world. The organization’s mission is to bridge the gap for students who may lack networks or resources by providing professional development and opportunities to gain real-world business exposure. Black in Business offers career workshops, networking events, and a supportive community focused on growth and opportunity. Open to all students regardless of background or major, the organization encourages participation to turn ambition into achievement.
Commercial Real Estate Club
The Washington State University Commercial Real Estate Club is focused on connecting students with the commercial real estate industry. We will offer bi-weekly meetings to help members learn about real estate construction, investment, brokerage, and development. With a focus on career growth, we provide opportunities for mentorship, industry connections, and hands-on experiences to help students achieve their professional goals in commercial real estate.


DECA
DECA prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs in marketing, finance, hospitality and management in high school and colleges around the globe. It is a great resource to help you build professional skills such as: proper handshakes, how to conduct an interview, building a resume, and more. DECA also provides you with a wide array of connections across the U.S. and in other countries as well. This kind of networking is valuable when finding jobs and internships.

Delta Sigma Pi (for all business majors)
Delta Sigma Pi is one of the world’s largest co-ed business professional fraternities. You are instantly connected to over 230,000 members in over 200 chapters worldwide when you join. The Carson College chapter, known as Omicron Psi, organizes various activities to prepare members for successful professional careers and connect with like-minded people.

With the entrepreneurial mindset nothing is impossible, and our club is determined to help fellow students reach their goals by providing them with the resources they need to succeed.
Eta Sigma Delta
Members of this internationally recognized honor society for hospitality and tourism students are recognized for their academic achievement, meritorious service, and demonstrated professionalism.
TO JOIN
You must:
- Either major or minor in hospitality business management
- Have completed 50% of the credit hours required for graduation
- Have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0.
You will be initiated after spending one semester in Eta Sigma Delta and meeting all initiation requirements.


FIRE Club
F.I.R.E. Club is a student-led organization at WSU Pullman that seeks to bridge the gap between the classroom and the workplace. Our mission is to bring students who are interested in Finance, Insurance, and Real-Estate together, and provide an environment where new ideas can be shared and exchanged openly. This club is open to all majors.

International Business Club
The International Business Club allows students to come together and learn about global business practices and learn how to conduct business in different cultures and countries. Build relationship with fellow students, international scholars, university professors, and corporate representatives. You don’t have to be an international business major to join this club. We encourage all majors to take this opportunity to learn about international cultures and aspects of business.
Marketing Club
Marketing Club prepares emerging business leaders in marketing, finance, hospitality, and management with real-world marketing experience. Students gain marketing experience by working on small to large-scale marketing campaigns, and professional skills such as how to conduct an interview, build a resume, and more.


MIS Club
Management Information Systems (MIS) Club is a student organization designed to prepare students for industry in the fields of Management Information Systems (MIS), Technology, and Business. MIS Club organizes networking events with recruiters and industry professionals, as well as provides its members with creative mediums to exercise their technical and business acumen.
People in the Workplace
PW Club is an HR-focused business club at WSU that welcomes students from all majors who are interested in understanding the dynamics of the modern workplace. Our mission is to equip members with valuable professional skills, enhance their knowledge of human resources, and help them grow their network.
Through interactive workshops and talks from industry professionals, students gain real-world insights into topics like leadership, communication, team development, recruitment, and workplace culture. Whether you’re pursuing a career in HR, business, or simply want to grow as a professional, PW Club offers the tools, support, and connections to help you thrive.


Sales Club
The WSU Sales Club is an RSO, run by a student executive board and a sponsoring faculty member from the sales program. The sales club provides opportunities for WSU students to improve their professionalism, develop their sales skills, engage with recruiters, and learn from professionals in the field. Join this club and participate topics like: Navigating Career Fairs, Sales in Different Industries, Perfecting Your Elevator Speech, Networking in Your First Job, Job Market Trends, and Speed Selling Practice.
Sales Competition Team
Each year, students compete in both fall and spring internal sales competitions hosted by WSU. Students can also compete in external sales competitions such as the National Collegiate Sales Competition hosted by Kennesaw State University in Atlanta, the Arizona State University Sales Competition, and the Salisbury University Sales Competition. Competitors travel with faculty to compete against other nationally recognized sales programs. These opportunities provide students with an opportunity to test their skills and to access employers looking to hire future sales professionals.


School of Hospitality Business Management Ambassadors
As an ambassador, you’ll help promote the School of Hospitality Business Management to prospective students and their parents.
Responsibilities:
- Providing departmental tours to campus visitors
- Assisting recruiters and other industry partners while on campus
- Helping at various off-campus events, such as the Washington Hospitality Conference, ProStart competitions, various high school recruiting events statewide, and more
To Apply:
- Ambassadors are selected through an application and interview process. The School recruits and hires Ambassadors on a rolling basis throughout the year. Applications are available through shbm@wsu.edu.
- You must be a hospitality business management, wine and beverage business management, aging business management major or minor, or an event management minor to be eligible to apply.
Sigma Iota
The purpose of Sigma Iota is to unify all students within the School of Hospitality Business Management in the Carson College of Business at Washington State University. Sigma Iota will allow every student an opportunity to get involved with the university, the Carson College, and the hospitality program. Sigma Iota will provide a forum for students to network within the organization and with other hospitality clubs.


Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Club
VITA stands for Volunteer Income Tax Assistance, a national program developed by the Internal Revenue Service. We are one site among many VITA locations.
We are a non-profit WSU student organization. We provide free tax return preparation for qualifying taxpayers. All of our volunteers are IRS certified.
Women in Business Club
WSU Women in Business is a networking and mentorship group open to all members of the WSU student community with a focus on empowering women of all backgrounds to become leaders in today’s business world. By holding meetings and events, we hope to provide business education, networking, mentorship, leadership development workshops, and social events for our members. WSUWIB provides students the opportunity to join a community dedicated to helping one another succeed. We hope to better prepare our members to be successful in the classroom and as future business professionals.


WSU Finance Career Accelerator
The mission of the WSU Finance Career Accelerator is to promote a friendly and competitive learning environment, functional communication between members, and to facilitate and practice team-oriented cooperative opportunities in the pursuit of finance or accounting related projects and exercises.
