Preparing for Your Meeting
WSU Pullman students with less than 30 and more than 75 WSU credits are required to meet with their academic advisor prior to registration to release their undergraduate advising hold. Although not all students are required to meet with their academic advisor, students are still encouraged to regularly meet with their advisor.
To maximize your meeting time, prepare in advance by:
- Reviewing your academic progress report in myWSU.
- Creating a list of your questions, courses you’d like to take, and/or goals you’d like to pursue.
- Checking for and resolving any registration holds.
On the day of your meeting:
- Arrive on-time. Students arriving 10 or more minutes late will be asked to reschedule.
- Be present and fully engaged. If your meeting is virtual, be sure to log on using your computer (and not your phone).
Please Note: Be aware of our No-Show Policy. You should email your advisor with at least 24 hours advance notice if you need to cancel or reschedule.
