Jerman Rose Study Abroad Scholarship

The Jerman Rose Study Abroad Scholarship supports IBUS majors seeking immersive global experiences through semester- or year-long study abroad programs.

Requirements

Eligible students will be in their third through final years of study
Must maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA.
Must be participating in an exchange program.
Financial need is not a factor in the selection process, and the scholarship may also be used for foreign language study abroad.

Deadlines

September 15 (Spring Travel)

October 15 (Spring Break Travel)

December 1 (Summer Travel)

April 15 (Fall Travel)

Preference is for student(s) whose program is conducted in a non-English language; or if conducted in English, takes place in a non-English-speaking country; or if in an English-speaking country, is located in Africa or Asia.

In addition to academic qualifications, ideal candidates will have demonstrated leadership and engagement in international business-related activities, such as the IBUS Club, case competitions, or international student organizations.

Applicants must have a letter of recommendation by a Carson College faculty member, with additional letters of support welcomed.

This scholarship is a one-time award and cannot be received more than once.
