Carson offers eleven business majors, emphasizing communication skills, collaboration, and business ethics. In addition, our acclaimed international business programs provide our students with a transformational understanding of global cultures.
The Carson Center Employer Connections Coordinator assists recruiters with planning their campus visit and student engagement activities. The Department of Accounting and School of Hospitality Business Management (SHBM) have contacts to assist recruiters in these specialty fields. SHBM majors include: Hospitality Business Management, Senior Living Management, and Wine & Beverage Business Management .

Career Expos are hosted virtually and in-person in Pullman each fall and spring. Open to students from all majors and class years seeking full-time jobs and internships.

Handshake
We use the online talent platform Handshake for a large portion of our recruitment activities. Through Handshake recruiters can:
- Post open job and internship roles at your company
- Register for and participate in career fairs
- Promote employer-hosted events
- Schedule on/off campus interviews

Build Your Company’s Brand
- Present a career development workshop that supports our Carson Career Amplifier Program. Contact the Employer Connections Coordinator at cb.hireacoug@wsu.edu about how to schedule, develop, and promote your workshop.
- Student business clubs host guest speakers on topics relevant to their group’s interests. Recruiters may contact club leadership directly.
