Daniel Kennedy
Career Consultant, BA 102 Instructor
Dan Kennedy serves as a Career Consultant and Business Administration 102 Instructor for the Carson Center for Student Success. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Management & Marketing with a minor in Entrepreneurship from Pennsylvania State University – Altoona and a Master’s in Business Administration from Pennsylvania State University – Behrend. Before joining the Carson College, Dan gained diverse experience in and out of higher education, including roles as a software sales representative, coordinator of admissions and dual enrollment, academic advisor, and collegiate soccer coach.
McKinzie Turner
Career Consultant, BA 102 Instructor
McKinzie has been a Career Consultant and BA 102 Instructor since 2022, with experience teaching Business and English at junior high, high school, and collegiate levels. She previously worked in banking and as a recruiter, hiring and advising contract employees. McKinzie holds a Master’s in Education from Eastern Washington University and a Bachelor’s in Human Resources and Operations Management from the University of Idaho, along with teaching certifications in Business, Marketing, English, and Career and Technical Education. A high school volleyball coach since 2006, she has earned numerous Coach of the Year awards, including the 2022-2023 Spokane Youth Sports honor. McKinzie also serves as an advisor for WSU Women in Business and Collegiate DECA.
Corey Cook
Amplifier & Career Advisor
Corey specializes in guiding students through the Amplifier Program with a hands-on, personalized approach. Whether it’s planning and designing their Amplifier journey, resolving Suitable platform issues, or collaborating on program events, Corey is a reliable resource for students and colleagues alike. She helps students connect their career goals to meaningful, high-impact learning experiences and ensures they make the most of their experiential learning opportunities. Additionally, Corey provides support with crafting initial resumes, empowering students to confidently showcase their skills and potential.
