At this event, you’ll be able to network with representatives from dozens of potential employers. Companies attending Career Networking Night are looking specifically for business students. Take advantage of this chance to leave a strong impression—and to identify organizations where you might want to intern or work. Business professional dress is required.

Held in both fall and spring semesters and coinciding with Career Networking Night, these university-wide career fairs attract recruiters from more than 100 industry-leading organizations. Recruiters want to connect with students from various majors and class years and some may conduct on-campus interviews the day after expo. Hosted by the Academic Success and Career Center, the expos are offered online and at Beasley Coliseum on the Pullman campus.

At these events, you will be able to network with representatives from a variety of companies specifically seeking to employ accounting majors, including public accounting firms, businesses and government agencies. The event format is an open forum and occurs during both fall and spring semesters. Accounting students can talk informally with industry professionals to gather information and learn about each of the attending organizations and open positions. Dress code is dressy business casual.
If you’re majoring or minoring in hospitality business management, be sure to attend this exclusive hospitality company recruitment exhibition in the fall semester. The event hosts hospitality companies from all over the country. Held each fall online, it’s the perfect opportunity to connect with potential employers for an internship or career-track position. Jerry and Angelina Burtenshaw graciously provided funding to create this event.

Five educational institutions in the Inland Northwest, including Washington State University, partner to provide students with an opportunity to connect with around 200 employers. Students and alumni from in and around Spokane, Washington are invited to attend this in-person fair, held annually in the spring.

CougsFirst! is a business network that encourages WSU alumni and friends to “Think CougsFirst!” for their products, services and hiring. Connect with these businesses at the show in Spokane in the fall and Bellevue in the spring. A career expo is usually offered at the spring show.

Employers and alumni frequently visit campus and engage online allowing students to grow their network while earning credit for the Carson Career Amplifier Program. Through a combination of special events, social media and advertising, CougsFirst! provides a network for WSU alumni and friends to connect and interact in positive business environments, such as after hours networking events hosted around the state.

Beta Alpha Psi & the Department of Accounting Spring Celebration
Join members of Beta Alpha Psi, accounting faculty and staff and accounting professionals for an evening of good food, fun games and great networking. An RSVP is required to attend. Watch for details on the Beta Alpha Psi website and in the weekly emails sent from the accounting department.
Beta Alpha Psi meetings
Beta Alpha Psi meets on Wednesday evenings. Each meeting features presentations by accounting firms, businesses and government agencies discussing cutting edge issues affecting the profession or topics specific to an industry. School of Hospitality Business Management (SHBM) Ambassadors
The SHBM Ambassadors are a group of highly engaged majors or minors from the program that network with hospitality business partners, lead tours for potential students, promote the program to current students, and provide assistance at various off-campus recruiting events. These students are selected through an application and interview process through the office in Todd Hall 342.

Americas Lodging Investment Summit (ALIS)
Every January, a small group of hospitality students attends and works for the Americas Lodging Investment Summit in Los Angeles. They network with c-suite executives of top tier hospitality companies from around the world to learn about the investment side of the hospitality industry. Applications are due to the School of Hospitality Business Management office each fall to be accepted for this opportunity.
