How Carson Business Solutions Works
Carson Business Solutions follows a systematic consulting approach allowing our teams to analyze your organization and develop informed, actionable recommendations.
Phase One: Kickoff and Discovery
Your team will meet with you to kick off the project, better understand your business model, hear the specific challenges your business is facing, and discuss any opportunities you’ve considered for growth.
Phase Two: Business Model Assessment
The team will roll up their sleeves to get to know your business, conducting an assessment that includes financial analysis, clarification of your customer value proposition, competitive analysis and differentiation, key resources, operations, processes and your organization’s core competencies. Once they understand the business, the team will determine a scope of work.
Next, the team will seek to understand the root causes of any challenges facing your organization and will explore critical success factors and best practices to discover possible solutions. The student team and their coach will meet with you at the end of this phase to present their diagnostic assessment report and receive your feedback.
Phase Three: Recommendations
The team will use what they have learned from the assessment to develop a set of clear, actionable alternatives for your company – and a formal recommendation. At the end of this phase, the team and their coach will meet with you to present a Recommendations Report.
Phase Four: Implementation Plan
The team will spend time pulling together everything they have learned into a final implementation report that includes next steps for your company and the necessary detail to implement each of the team’s recommendations. The team will present their findings to you, their coach and WSU faculty in a formal presentation.
Phase Five: Client Feedback
You will be asked to complete two evaluations, the first at the conclusion of the project and the last after a one-year check-in. Both are designed to measure the impact of the program.
