Opportunities for Partnership

The Business Plan Competition would not be possible without the generous support of our sponsors. As a sponsor of the WSU Business Plan Competition, you are contributing to an exceptional hands-on learning experience for WSU students.

Sponsoring company representatives are invited as judges for the Presentation and/or Final Round of the competition. As a sponsor, your company is recognized at competition events and in publicity materials. At the April competition, your company may set up an informational table, post banners, and offer giveaways.

Vision of the program

Real-world education
The Business Plan Competition was developed to give student entrepreneurs and future business owners hands-on learning opportunities:

  • To practice business in a real-world setting
  • To showcase their business acumen
  • To network with industry professionals

Putting theory into practice
The competition bridges theory and application for students who participate. Students can take courses that complement business plan development in the spring semester.

Global learning experience
WSU includes international competitors in the event. When WSU students compete, they exchange ideas face to face with some of the brightest and most creative students from other countries. It is great preparation for the global business world that awaits them.
