The WSU One Year Data Analytics MBA puts you on the fast track to achieve your career goals. Consider these advantages.
One year to finish
The concentrated program lets you earn your degree and start your career a full year before most other MBA students. You begin the program in August, graduate the following May, participate in a trip abroad, and complete your final project by mid-July. If you enroll at WSU as a freshman, you can earn a bachelor’s degree in business and an MBA in just five years.
Working with the Carson College’s corporate partners, you’ll be challenged to solve real-world problems. Not only will you be studying cases of management solutions, you’ll be creating them.
Skills that boost your employability
We asked industry leaders what skills they seek in MBA students, and they responded consistently: The ability to use market information to make strategic decisions in a creative and concise manner and communicate those decisions to the customer. The WSU Analytics MBA curriculum is designed to build your decision-making and communication skills. You graduate with a skill set highly desired by employers.
Learning from the best
Professors who teach your courses are widely published and nationally recognized in their fields for their scholarship and research achievements.
You’ll be part of a small cohort of students—typically just 30 to 40—who enter and complete the program together. That means that classes stay small and you get focused attention from faculty to help you attain your best. Plus, your academic advisors are specifically dedicated to the MBA program.
Networking is central to the culture of the Carson College, and you’ll have countless opportunities to connect with potential employers. You can speak with industry experts and corporate recruiters who visit campus, have your resume sent to targeted organizations, build connections with Carson College alumni, and much more. Companies that have hired recent graduates include Boeing, Daimler Benz, Neal Analytics, McKinesy Research, Apptio, and Huron Consulting.
A respected degree
Of course, Carson College degree programs at all levels are accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. This places the College in elite company. Only 4% of colleges and universities worldwide are similarly accredited.
You’ll find that the sticker price of this one year program undercuts that of the vast majority of other MBA programs. It’s a comfortable margin below the national average for graduate business schools.

“I think the best thing about the program is how small the cohort is. It’s about 24 people, you’re in every class together, so you really get to create some bonds with your classmates.”
– Jennifer Hale
“I was able to apply a lot of the skills I was learning in analytics almost immediately, getting practical experience which has opened up a lot of doors for me.”
– Andrew Pirie
