The Switzerland-based entrepreneur made $1 million last year selling his glasses to restaurants and wine enthusiasts, according to Forbes.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\r\n\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

Amrita Lahiri<\/a> received the 2022 Helena Yli-Renko Research Impact Award for a 2015 paper she coauthored with Greg Fisher and Suresh Kotha. The award recognizes an entrepreneurship paper that appeared in top-tier management and entrepreneurship journals and received the highest citations in the five years following publication. The award was presented at the Academy of Management meeting in August in Seattle. The research is titled, \u201cChanging with the Times: An Integrated View of Identity, Legitimacy, and New Venture Life Cycles.\u201d<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\r\n\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

Claire Latham<\/a> retired after 28 years with the Carson College. She taught many of the upper division accounting classes at WSU Vancouver, several MBA courses, and served as faculty advisor for Nu Theta Beta Alpha Psi and the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance organization. Latham\u2019s undergraduate accounting students completed over 300 client internal control evaluations for businesses in the community. She received several awards for research in ethics training and has helped raise scholarships for accounting students through conducting public accounting continuing education ethics workshops.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\r\n\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

Muehling published 21 articles in the journal<\/a>, which were cited 3,442 times by other researchers. He was also deemed the journal\u2019s most influential author based on Google Scholar metrics. He is an emeritus professor in the Department of Marketing and International Business.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\r\n\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

Soobin Seo<\/a> has been granted tenure and promoted to associate professor in the School of Hospitality Business Management<\/a> at WSU Everett. She also received the inaugural WSU Everett Chancellor\u2019s Award for Excellence in Teaching 2021\u20132022. The award recognizes a faculty member who commits time outside of the classroom to prevent students from falling through the cracks and demonstrates enthusiasm for the subject matter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Seo also received a Best Paper Award from the Asia Pacific Tourism Association conference for her forthcoming research, \u201cGender Dismatch Effect Between Customers and Gendered Service Robots.\u201d She is the paper\u2019s first author, and doctoral student Xianmei Wu is a coauthor.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\r\n\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n
