{"id":9,"date":"2016-07-11T12:28:56","date_gmt":"2016-07-11T19:28:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/business.wsu.edu\/catering\/?page_id=9"},"modified":"2025-06-03T12:31:36","modified_gmt":"2025-06-03T19:31:36","slug":"procedures-rates","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/business.wsu.edu\/catering\/procedures-rates\/","title":{"rendered":"Procedures &amp; Rates"},"content":{"rendered":"<br \/>\n<section id=\"builder-section-1468524669242\" class=\"row single gutter pad-top\">\n<div style=\"\" class=\"column one \">\n<p><span style=\"color: #A60F2D;\">Thank you for considering Washington State University\u2019s Hospitality Catering Services for your catering needs.\u00a0With our student managed operation our goal is to showcase the future leaders of the hospitality industry and WSU\u2019s bounty of quality products.<\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"color: #993300\"><strong>Event Scheduling<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>To provide you with the best service we recommend that all arrangements for WSU Hospitality Catering Services be made <strong><em>30 days<\/em><\/strong> prior to the event.\u00a0We will do our best to accommodate events scheduled after that time.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #993300\"><strong>Cancellations<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>All cancellations must be made <strong>SEVEN<\/strong> working days prior to event date.\u00a0Any cancellations past the deadline will have a 22% fee to cover incurred labor and product costs.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #993300\"><strong>Room Rental<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Includes room setup, tables and chairs<\/p>\n<p><u>Marriott Dining Room<\/u> <strong>$175.00<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><u>Wine Business Classroom<\/u> <strong>$125.00<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>All cancellations must be made <strong>SEVEN<\/strong> working days prior to event date.\u00a0Any cancellations past the deadline will have a $50.00 fee to cover incurred labor and product costs.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #993300\"><strong>Service Charge<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Service fee is 22% of the total event cost.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #993300\"><strong>Service Staff<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>There is an additional $27.00 per hour labor charge for extra service staff if necessary.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #993300\"><strong>Bar &amp; Bartenders<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>There is an additional $50.00 per hour labor charge for bartenders and glassware.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #993300\"><strong>Linens and Skirting<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>All events catered by Hospitality Catering Services include linens and skirting for buffet tables and served meals.<\/p>\n<p>Additional Linen Costs:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Round tables &#8211; $10.00 each<\/li>\n<li>Rectangle tables &#8211; $10.00 each<\/li>\n<li>Bistro tables &#8211; $7.00 each<\/li>\n<li>Linen Napkin &#8211; $0.75 each<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #993300\"><strong>Decorations<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Host is responsible for providing all decorations and flowers unless other arrangements have been made with us in advance.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #993300\"><strong>Menu Pricing <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Varies dependent upon event. Please contact catering department at <a href=\"mailto:cb.hbm.dine@wsu.edu\">cb.hbm.dine@wsu.edu<\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #993300\"><strong>Taxes<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Taxes at a rate of 8% may apply for non university-sponsored events.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #993300\"><strong>Rentals<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Events may require the rental of additional equipment.\u00a0All additional charges will be mutually agreed upon and outlined in the event contract.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #993300\"><strong>Delivery Fees<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>There is a delivery charge for all events outside of Todd 268.\u00a0Deliveries within Todd Hall will be $20.00.
