WSU Career Expo

The Expo is a university-wide career fair hosted by the WSU Academic Success and Career Center. It is held in both the fall and spring, scheduled the day after the Carson College of Business Career Networking Night. At the Expo, you’ll have the chance to meet with students of all majors and grade levels. The event runs from 10:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. at the Beasley Performing Arts Coliseum. The Burtenshaw Hospitality Career Night
This exclusive hospitality-company recruitment exhibition attracts more than 90% of WSU students majoring or minoring in hospitality business management. Held each spring on the WSU Pullman campus, it’s the perfect opportunity to recruit students seeking summer employment or an entry-level job. Jerry and Angelina Burtenshaw have graciously provided funding to create this event, which unites motivated students with hospitality-industry employers. We are deeply grateful for their commitment.
Registration will open on December 1. The $300 registration fee covers all company representatives and includes one 8-ft draped table, two chairs, reception, wireless Internet, receipt and storage of pre-shipped display materials, assistance with booth set-up, and interview rooms for optional student interviewing at next-day interviews.
Any changes to your registration, such as electrical needs, number of representatives attending, participation in next-day Interviews, etc., must be made through the registration site. You will be emailed a code to use if you want to make changes. Please save that email.
Cancellation and refund policy
A full refund, minus a $50 processing fee, will be granted if you cancel your registration on or before the cancellation deadline: February 3, 2017 No refunds will be granted for cancellations after the deadline, or for no-shows at the Career Night.

The Burtenshaw Hospitality Career Night often sells out. Booths are assigned on a first come, first served basis, so please register early.
Check-in time runs from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Parking for the fair and the interviews is available in the Smith Center for Undergraduate Education (CUE) Parking Garage. (See campus map.) When you leave the garage, tell the attendant you were visiting the School of Hospitality Business Management and they will bill us for your parking. If there is no attendant, write School of Hospitality on the stub and deposit it in the box, and we will be billed.
It is advisable to park in the CUE Parking garage and go up the elevator to the third floor of the CUE. When you exit the building, you will be right across the street from the CUB. If you shipped items to us in advance, student volunteers will bring your materials to the CUB ballroom. Volunteers will also be available to assist with set up.
The School of Hospitality Business Management will hold a reception for all company representatives, faculty, and staff following Career Night. The reception will start at 6:45 p.m. in the Marriott Hospitality Teaching Center (Todd Addition 268). This is a great opportunity to meet and mingle with other recruiters, as well as School of Hospitality Business Management faculty and staff. The cost is included in your registration fee. You can provide names of reception attendees during the registration process.
On campus interviews
If you plan to conduct on-campus interviews during your visit, we have reserved rooms in the WSU Center for Advising and Career Development (CACD) in Lighty Hall Room 160 and/or rooms in Todd Hall. The rooms are limited in number and are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, so please make reservations as early as possible.

Pullman: Fly directly into Pullman. The Pullman/Moscow airport is serviced only by Horizon Airlines, a subsidiary of Alaska and Northwest Airlines. Lewiston: The Lewiston, Idaho airport is serviced by Horizon and other airlines, and is only 30 miles south of Pullman. There is no shuttle service from this airport, so a rental car would be needed. Hospitality Company Previews
Show hospitality business management students what it’s like to work for your company. During this 2-day event, you can schedule an hour to deliver your own custom presentation about career opportunities in your organization. These evening company preview sessions are held in both the fall and spring semesters. As a presenter, you are also invited to participate in optional hospitality class visits, campus tours, and interviews with students. The College will publicize your information session with emails and flyers, using information that you provide.
