The Carson Center workshops prepare you for your upcoming job or internship search, networking events, and more through interactive presentations for all aspects of career planning and development. You’ll receive coaching and information that you will use for the rest of your life. Each semester, the Carson Center for Student Success hosts four sessions, each covering a different topic. Workshops are free and open to all students.

What is LinkedIn? Come find out! Learn how LinkedIn goes beyond just jobs, how to make the most out of your LinkedIn profile, and the importance of networking.
Professional Headshots: October 20 (offered 1:00-2:30 p.m. and 4:00-5:30 p.m.)
Attend the LinkedIn and Networking Workshop, then receive a professional headshot you can use on your own LinkedIn profile! Our photographer will be here for two 1.5 hour sessions to take professional headshots for any student needing or wanting them.
Career Planning and Goal Setting: November 17
A workshop centered on learning how to set effective goals as they relate to preparing for your future career. Additional topics discussed will be career researching, informational interviewing, and job shadowing.
Professionalism: December 1
Learn key concepts such as internships, communication, and on-the-job etiquette.
