Build your job hunting and interviewing skills through these workshops

The Carson Center workshops prepare you for your upcoming job or internship search, networking events, and more through interactive presentations for all aspects of career planning and development. You’ll receive coaching and information that you will use for the rest of your life. Each semester, the Carson Center for Student Success hosts four sessions, each covering a different topic. Workshops are free and open to all students.

September 18th
Career Fair & Networking Prep – Professional Development Workshop

Join our career consultants with potential professional guest speakers for 30 minutes to receive quick tips on how to successfully network at Career Networking Night and the Career Expo. Feel free to bring your lunch during the noon session.

Join us and 40+ employers in a networking opportunity to learn about how to network and practice your networking skills with employers seeking business students for full time and internship opportunities before the career expo.

Boeing Mentors Kick Off

The selected mentees for the 2017 – 2018 year will travel to Seattle, WA to meet with their Boeing mentors and tour the Boeing facilities; to launch their mentorship program for the year.

Personal Branding Professional Development Series

What is your professional image and online presence saying about you? Join our career consultants and professional guest speakers in a three day personal branding series. Each session will allow you to learn more about how to build a professional brand online and in person. Day three will end in a personal branding panel discussion with professional guest speakers and networking.

Transferrable Skills Professional Development Workshop

Have you ever volunteered, took on a leadership position, or completed a summer internship or part time job? If you answered yes, then you have skills that are transferrable and we can help you to identify how to articulate those skills on your resume and in an interview. Join us for quick tips and a panel discussion on these skills needed to get the job.
