Combining real-world professional experience with high quality business curriculum, the Carson College of Business builds business leaders of tomorrow. As a Carson Coug, there are three pillars that are integral to all Carson College of Business degree programs. These pillars give Carson Cougs the industry-relevant knowledge, skills, and experiences necessary to thrive in today’s challenging business environment:

While at WSU, you will be expected to excel in and out of the classroom. With a focus on professional development and developing a global business perspective, Carson Cougs are expected to participate in internships, become student leaders, and learn about business from a global perspective.

The Carson College offers a range of majors for the Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and the Bachelor of Arts in Hospitality Business Management degree programs. No matter which major you choose—or which WSU campus you call home—you’ll emerge ready tackle the challenges of our ever-changing business world.

DOUBLE MAJOR

Students can choose to complete two majors within the business administration degree program. Declaring a double major will require you to complete at least 15 additional credits. Those credits must be from courses that are:

 

  • Specifically required for your second major, and
  • Different from those used to satisfy requirements for your first major.

 

Schedule a time to meet with your business advisor if you wish to declare a second business major.

Not a Business major but want a business background?

Students pursuing a major outside the Carson College of Business can also get a second degree in any of the majors listed above.  This is called getting a double degree; you get a degree in your current major and a business degree in one of the majors listed above.  Getting a double degree requires an additional 30 credits of coursework.  If you wish to pursue a double degree, schedule a time to meet with a business advisor to explore this option and learn more about the requirements.

 

Students outside the Carson College can also pursue any of the minors listed above.  Schedule a time to meet with a business advisor if you wish to declare a business minor.
